Custom Hat Designs

We love creating custom designs for our clients. Nothing we do is more creative or more rewarding than working with a client to put together a perfect look.

Custom Designs are couture pieces created to complement the client's ensemble or to meet certain design specifications. The fee for an original design starts at $375.00 and varies depending on the hat size, materials used, and trim. We require a 50% nonrefundable deposit before starting any custom project. We also ask that you allow 3 weeks for the completion of your custom hat.

Here's how it works. In an initial consultation, the client gives me color and style preferences. If she has an outfit in mind she emails me a photograph or a link to a photograph of the dress. Sometimes I work from a belt or swatch of fabric from the garment. I design the hat and then email a photo or photos for consideration. When the design is approved, the hat is then finished and delivered. The images below are examples of these steps.

Semi Custom Designs

Often we find that the perfect hat is a small revision away. For instance, if a client likes an existing design but wants to change a detail (change the color, substitute a different trim or color of trim.) a customization fee, $50. - $100. may apply.

Return Policy

As all of out hats are made to order and as hats are a fairly personal accessory, it is our policy that we never resell a hat, therefore we cannot return orders. However do want you to be happy with your hat and will work with you on alterations to size or trim.
